Pickles & Paws is where pickle lovers and pet lovers unite for an unforgettable celebration of flavor, fun, and furry friends. Now in its second year, this one-of-a-kind event takes place each spring on Long Island, blending the joy of pet adoption with the playful spirit of a full-blown pickle festival.

Wander down Pickle Row, packed with your favorite pickle vendors and small-batch makers, then browse the handcrafted artisan market, enjoy delicious food, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. Attendees can meet and connect with dozens of adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues—and maybe even bring home a new best friend.

The day also includes our beloved pickling contest, where pickle enthusiasts showcase their tastiest homemade jars for bragging rights.

Come for the pickles. Stay for the paws. Leave with your heart (and maybe your hands) full.

OUR HEROES

Participating Animal Shelters and Rescues

Would your shelter or rescue like to be part of this exciting event? Each participating organization will receive a donation after the event, with the amount determined by the number of participating organizations, event attendance, and additional donations raised throughout the day. We encourage all shelters and rescues to bring adoptable pets to the event, providing an opportunity to showcase animals in need of loving homes. Organizations are strongly encouraged to bring informational materials to share with attendees about their mission and adoptable animals.
